Background:
The year just turned 2022, and the world is slowly awakening from the pandemic slumber. The traditional country club idea collides with NFTs through the launch of LinksDAO. The purpose was to be a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), and ultimately crowdfund a golf course. LinksDAO successfully sells out its NFTs and raises $10.5 million to fund this project led by Mike Dudas.

But before that, as with any DAOs, the SEC pressured the community to provide real utility to the NFT collection, not to classify it as a security.
Challenge:
The challenge for LinksDAO was providing real value to their NFT community that is aligned with the membership’s mission and value, beyond simply holding a digital asset. LinksDAO needed to immediately offer utility and access to exclusive benefits for holders, while also promoting the wider adoption of Web3 technology.
Solution:
