How Food Fighters Universe uses PERCS to giveaway free meals
Challenge
From the very beginning, FFU wanted to push the boundaries by providing real life utility for their NFT holders. So the team laser focused on offering their holders a free meal every month at their partner restaurants.
That meant they had to figure out a way to make technology that was originally designed to be used online only and somehow bring it to the physical world.
Solution
FFU worked with PERCS to create a portal for holders to redeem their NFT for a free meal voucher with a unique QR code and download it to their Apple or Google Wallet. To use their meal voucher, holders present the QR code from their voucher to the merchant who then scans their code and gives them their free meal.
Now, holders can easily use their NFTs to unlock real world experiences - paving the way for FFU to add more utility to their NFTs. Likewise, FFU has been able to demonstrate how businesses can seamlessly work together using web3 technology.
Strategy
Thanks to the launch of their new redemption program, FFU uses PERCS for what it does best: Give back to their community by offering utility to their NFTs. Since the launch of their restaurant group, FFU has added over 20 global partner locations where customers can claim their monthly free meals.
